Jason Hocking
Technical Manager

Jason originally trained as a quantity surveyor and project manager, and spent 21 years with the same consultancy, working across the country specialising in demolition and enabling work packages, he developed an interest in construction-related health and safety, training as a planning supervisor and as an asbestos surveyor in 2002.

He joined Shield Environmental in 2008 and took up the post of technical director in 2009.

When asked to take on a management role within Allium he jumped at the chance to return home to base in Cornwall.

Claire Stephen
Operations Manager

Manager with over twenty years working within the Asbestos Consultancy Industry. Committed to achieving and exceeding client targets whilst remaining focused on providing an exceptional quality and standard of service.

Started her career as an asbestos technician for Kirklees Council, eventually moving to Cornwall Council for 13 years where her role of Asbestos Manager saw her achieve and maintain a fully UKAS accredited asbestos laboratory.

She saw a fantastic and exciting opportunity to come and work for Allium, joining in late 2015.

Sarah Menhenitt
Social Housing Manager

Sarah joined Shield Consultancy in 2014 as booking clerk. Her logistical planning skills enabling her to successfully manage the diaries for all our surveyors, allocating and booking surveyors to projects and moving projects around to ensure our key performance indicators are met or exceeded wherever possible.

Sarah has taken on the mantle of Allium social housing manager and is well aware of the importance of maintaining the highest levels of customer care when dealing with our clients and their tenants.

Evie Hidderley
Business Development Co-ordinator

Evie joined Allium in early 2017 having previously worked for a licensed asbestos removal contractor. Evie has a predominantly administrative background and is looking forward to applying her strong skills of organisation, time management, positivity and communication into her role of Business Development Co-ordinator.

With her strong work ethic and dedication to ensure customer satisfaction; she can’t wait to build on existing customer relationships and strive to forge new ones for the future.
