New website coming…

With Allium approaching its 4th year of business we thought it was about time we gave our website a more personal touch! Over the years we have felt that our website has provided a place for information and enquiry submission but not given the viewer full information about our experience in the industry.

Our new website will feature testimonials from our valued and supportive clients and case studies showcasing some of our most interesting jobs.

We have had some fantastic feedback about our branding. People have said that it stands out and is memorable! So with this in mind we will be keeping all our branding the same but just enhancing our content and telling you more about our dynamic team!

Sarah Menhenitt introduces Xero accountancy system

Back in September last year we introduced you to Sarah Menhenitt who after a long stint as one of our Key Account Managers was moving into the accounts team after success in her AAT Level 3 studies.

Sarah is now heading up our accounting function with the support of our business accountants, The Peloton, in Penryn. One of the first projects that Sarah has championed is the adoption of the Xero cloud based, paperless accountancy system.

This simple automated accounting software brings another level of efficiency to our procedures, linking to our Alpha Tracker surveying system Xero brings us automated invoice generation, eliminating double handling of data and invoicing errors, saving Allium and our clients from dealing with time consuming accounting queries.

It’s all hosted online, so Sarah can log on anytime from anywhere to review our financial information. With all the time she’s saved we can’t wait to see what she introduces next!

Alpha Tracker – integrated asbestos management solution

You’ll have seen our site staff collecting asbestos data & photos on tablets to process through “Alpha Tracker”, our integrated management system.

What does Alpha Tracker offer you, our clients?

You can:

  • Download your asbestos reports as PDFs at any time through the client portal
  • View asbestos registers for a site or building
  • Upload asbestos removal paperwork or updated plans through the portal
  • Share important procedures, policies or other paperwork – even non-asbestos health & safety material can be shared
  • Track contractor access to the portal (you can give them logins to access site registers)
  • Search your entire property portfolio for specific materials or asbestos types (very useful when planning remediation work).

Finally, do ask us about the new Alpha Tracker Mobile app and the ability to “QR code” site registers.

Training on the use of our client portal can be undertaken in less than an hour and will assist with ensuring you are compliant with your duty to manage under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
