Refurbishment Asbestos Survey in Coventry

Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos Survey in Coventry

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, many property owners are responding to the decline in high-street footfall by repurposing retail outlets and office space into residential properties. Despite the national lockdown, Allium are committed to providing a complete service to our customers due to the related health and safety concerns associated with asbestos.

Allium Environmental’s Yorkshire division recently carried-out their first large-scale project on a refurbishment and demolition survey in Coventry’s city centre where a 1960s commercial building complex was undergoing conversion into residential space.

The Survey was carried out by Allium Environmental Ltd on behalf of Clear Environmental Ltd on 07 December 2020 to 10 December 2020. The purpose of this survey was to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of all suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) in the building survey area which could be damaged or disturbed during planned refurbishment activities. During the survey 45 samples were taken for analysis.

Our client told us that they were “Extremely Happy” with the our comprehensive asbestos survey.

* We did not carry-out an asbestos survey on any of the retail units which were currently open, only this which had been closed, so as to minimise disruption to operating businesses.
