Allium Environmental have recently completed 4 Legionella Risk Assessments for The Northam Care Trust in Bideford.
The four different sites were 3 Care Homes and 1 Day Centre. Established as a charity in 1978 and based in North Devon, The Northam Care Trust offer person-centred support to individuals with learning and physical disabilities. They also support older people and individuals with dementia.
We found that all of the sites were very good with excellent standards of cleaning in place, great maintenance regimes, monthly monitoring of temperatures, annual drain-down, weekly flushing of infrequently used outlets and all relevant personnel have completed Legionella Awareness training. We were very impressed.
