We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for your support during 2018. It’s been an incredible year with lots of exciting developments and your continued custom has enabled us to stay on track to achieve exemplary levels of service, whilst reaching our budgets at the end of our financial year.
Over the last twelve months we have undertaken some fantastic projects, with our surveyors travelling across the globe to some far-flung places, including; Rotterdam, Spain, Dubai and The Falkland Islands, and asbestos surveying works being undertaken on marine vessels and land based projects.
Back in more familiar surroundings, we’ve also undertaken projects across the UK, ranging from complex large demolition surveys to small scale surveys, re-inspections and asbestos management plans.
We also updated our website in the first half of the year, which we believe better reflects the company and gives a much better feel for Allium’s approachable ‘personality’. Along with also introducing a new accounting system, updating existing accreditations and obtaining new ones, such as UKATA, it’s been a busy year for the entire team.
One of the biggest changes within the company, in addition to the above, is that we have created our own laboratory at our HQ in Cornwall. We are awaiting final approval by UKAS and hope to be up and running early in the New Year, we will be in a great position to be able to offer a speedier testing service at more competitive rates.
Team Allium is growing; we have increased the number of administration staff within the operational teams to enable us to maintain the level of customer service expected from our clients. With some exciting projects in the pipeline, we’re continuing our recruitment drive to get them off the ground, as well as handling the increasing workload from all areas.
We have recently doubled the size of the working space, too, at our head office at Baldhu. We see this as an important element in enabling us to grow into our future plans and provide our services not only in the UK, but across the globe.
We are extremely optimistic for 2019 and look forward to being of service.
