In June 2018 Allium were commissioned to undertake our second job at Bath Rugby Club to carry out a demolition survey to their Clubhouse prior to re-development works of the stadium.
Founded in 1865 Bath Rugby Club is one of the oldest rugby union clubs in existence. Allium were instructed to carry out a demolition survey to the clubhouse, built in the 1950’s, and now the oldest part of the stadium.
During matches at the stadium the clubhouse is used for hospitality and occasionally for other events outside of matchday.
Bath Rugby were required to have a demolition survey as re-development works are due to take place. A demolition survey must locate and identify all ACMs before any structural work begins. This type of survey involves destructive inspection and Asbestos sampling.
Our surveyor Bryan undertook the survey in accordance with HSG 264 and was on site for 3 days, during which 32 samples of suspected ACMs were collected. The job was completed on time and budget.
