This photo of a sample of Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB) was recently taken at our in-house testing laboratory.
It shows positive AIB with a very sparkly (from the mica) ”Suplaux” type material appearance. You can also easily see the spiky Amosite fibres present.
We’re sure plenty of surveyors have been caught out by this so please ensure you are not.
